Modern, well presented four bedroom villa with swimming pool and fully fenced garden located in a mature residential development close to the picturesque village of Castro Marim.
This luxury South-facing villa consists of a hallway with a large central staircase and leads to an open plan living room with fire place. The very spacious and fully equipped kitchen with American Fridge freezer is brilliant for self caterers. Adjacent to the kitchen you’ll find the dinning room. The two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and a guests bathroom with W.C. complete the ground floor. In total there are 4 bathrooms of which two are en-suite.
From the hallway an open staircase leads to the landing on the 1st floor, comprising a spacious (2nd) TV seating area with air conditioning, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Access from both the landing and bedrooms onto a south facing sun terrace.
The exterior
Access from the living room to a semi-covered terrace with table and chairs and the swimming pool with sun terrace and sun loungers.
The plot of land is fully fenced and has an automatic entrance gate with cobble stone driveway which leads to the garage. The villa is located close to Castro Marim town centre and Vila Real where you’ll find all amenities. A car is recommended to get he most out of your stay in the Algarve. The villa has easy access by tarmac road.
The Eastern Algarve is re-known for its long, sandy beaches which are not overcrowded. Even in the busy summer months you only have to walk half a mile to find your self a quiet spot on the beach to unwind. The nearest beach is in Praia Verde renown for its many centuries old pines trees. Refreshment you can find in the beach bar and the good beach restaurants too.
Another nice beach to visit during your stay is the beach on the Island of Tavira (Ilha de Tavira). The atmosphere on Tavira Island is very relaxed and you have a good choice of cafes, bars and restaurants. The local restaurants serve both meat and fish dishes, but especially the latter you should try.
The Living Area
If you like excellent and freshly caught fish, this is a local paradise for you! Another nice beach to go to is the ones in Cabanas de Tavira and Barrill in Santa Luzia – opposite Pedras del Rei – centrally located in the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve Park nearby. Both places have a large choice of restaurants and bars for refreshments. A lunch or dinner in the nearby Casa do Abade in Santa Luzia is strongly recommended for its good service (they go the extra mile) and unpretentious fresh local food. The prices are very reasonable and their speciality “Porco Preto” is a typical dish from the Alentejo where the black pig of this region is fed acorns to give a distinctive flavour. Ask the owner “Tito” for his recommendation when ordering wine as he has lots of very good local wines at affordable prices. Furthermore, Pedras del Rei has a good restaurant called Vale del Rei as well as a Piano bar for late entertainment. On the beach of Barrill, you’ll find a self service restaurant, hamburger house, Pizzeria/Creperia, a bar, A Boutique/handicraft shop, Nautical Club and Massage Service. If you don’t like overcrowded beaches, this is the place for you. When arriving at Barrill Beach, even in high season you just walk for 500 meters either way, and you have the beach for your selves!
uring the summer months there is a boat ferry from the centre of town, opposite the Land & Houses – Happy Homes office, going to the beach of Ilha de Tavira and Quatro Aguas.
The pool measures 10m by 5m. There area various (semi-covered) terraces and sun loungers are available.

You will find this estate on an elevated location on the edge of Quinta do Sobral. Access by tarmac road with all amenities a short drive away nearby: an ideal base for your holiday to explore the Algarve!
To the East lies the Spanish border which you can cross in 5 minutes. A day trip to Seville is highly recommended and only a good hour drive away. There are many blue flag beaches in the area to choose from. It’s central location make it an ideal base to explore the Algarve. All amenities in Castro Marim and Vila Real de San Antonio – friendly towns with a long history – are near by and there are many restaurants and bars to choose from. The Algarve offers most of the year the ideal circumstances to play golf and there are four Golf courses all within a 20 minutes drive away: Castro Marim Golf, Quinta da Ria, Quinta de Cima and the most prestigious of all, the Monte Rei Golf & Country Club. The old town of Cacela Velha is also well worth a visit. If you like gambling, there is a casino in Monte Gordo as well as many restaurants offering Portuguese and international cuisine.
