Three bedroom townhouse located in an elevated position in an up-market urbanization close to Tavira town center with large communal pool and landscaped gardens. Guests may use the swimming pool facilities free of charge. The house is located in a cul de sac and within walking distance to the old roman bridge in the center of Tavira. It’s an ideal place to stay and to use as a base to explore the Algarve, it’s many beautiful beaches, water sports and the golf courses near by. Benamor golf is the nearest 18 hole golf course approx. 2,5 kilometer down the road. The golf courses of Quinta da Ria and Quinta de Cima are less than a 10 minutes drive away.
The exterior
It is very easy to lose track of time in Tavira, a lovely old town with a long history where time stood still. You can spend hours strolling the charming cobblestone streets with it’s many restaurants, shops, bars and terraces to enjoy a refreshment in the sun. The old palace is near by and the beach of Ilha de Tavira is within walking distance and has many small restaurants. This is a very nice destination all year round. During the summer months there is a boat ferry from the center of town, opposite our office, going to Ilha de Tavira and Quatro Aguas.
The Living Area
The accommodation is well presented and tastefully decorated and has a Mediterranean ambiance. The townhouse consists of a hallway leading to a good size L-shape living room with open fireplace and dining area and glass doors opening out onto the garden with very nice secluded seating area and lawn, a fully equipped kitchen with granite worktop, three double bedrooms (two twins) and three bathrooms. There is a large private terrace of approx. 35m2 with 2 sun loungers, a dining table and chairs, a fitted BBQ; ideal for alfresco dining! From here you have beautiful views (270º). All rooms have air conditioning.
