Surrounded by the unspoilt beautiful nature of the East Algarve, this property is only a 35 minute drive from Faro Airport. Tavira is approx. a 12 minute drive away and is one of the nicest laidback places to visit. It is very easy to lose track of time in Tavira, a lovely old town with a long history where time stood still. You can spend hours strolling the charming cobblestone streets with it's many restaurants, shops, bars and terraces to enjoy a refreshment in the sun. The old palace is nearby and the beach of Ilha de Tavira is within walking distance and has many small restaurants. A visit to the recently renovated Pousada (Inn) is recommended. This is a very nice destination all year round. During the summer months there is a boat ferry from the center of town, opposite the Happy Homes office, going to Ilha de Tavira and Quatro Aguas. Sta Catarina, a charming little village is only a 5 minute drive away. Here they organize once a month a gypsy market that is well worth a visit. There are several superb golf courses and many blue flag beaches with excellent water sport facilities to choose from within a 15/20 minute drive. The nearest restaurant is a little gem known only by residents living in the area which you pass on your way from Faro Airport to the property. It is located in a local Bed & Breakfast called Quinta de Fonte do Bispo, where the owners also organize many events to be enjoyed by both their own guests and residents/visitors from the area. Large supermarkets you'll find in Sao Bras, Loule and Tavira. The nearest supermarket (Loja Fresca) is in Sta Catarina. The villa - bungalow style - is nicely designed, all living quarters are on the ground floor. The house consist of a hallway leading to the very spacious living room with wood burner stove and dining area with seating for 10 people. The A fully equipped kitchen with adjacent dining/breakfast room. There are five double bedrooms all with built in wardrobes, five bathrooms (two en-suite). Access form the living room to the South facing semi-covered terraces with table & chairs and surrounding beautiful and mature landscaped gardens. The swimming pool is fully fenced and as such friendly for children and can be reached via a decorative  natural stone staircase down to the gate where you'll find the large (15 meter length) swimming pool with lawn, sun terrace, outside shower and sun loungers. On the terrace on south side of the swimming pool there is a built in stone bench from where you can enjoy beautiful far reaching views of the surrounding nature towards the sea. The dining table under the semi covered terrace with BBQ area over looking the gardens is a perfect place for that all-important 'Al Fresco' dining. The large living area is equipped with TV (Cable TV with international channels, DVD player, Audio system, books and magazines. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, gas cooker / hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and all utensils, pots, pans etc. A board and iron are available. All rooms have central heating (gas fired) and therefore makes this villa also ideal for stays outside of the summer season. Children of all age are welcome. Having children of their own, the owners have ensured the grounds are as child friendly as possible. The pool area is walled/fenced to three sides and fencing / gates have been installed at the entrances with childproof latches.  Ample parking space provided.
