 This spacious 3 bedroom villa with triple height ceilings is located in between Santa Catarina and Tavira in a place called Corte. You and your family will be delighted to enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding countryside while being only a short 8 to 10 minute drive away from either Tavira or Santa Catarina, still close enough for shopping and cafe life when needed as well as good restaurants for all tastes and pockets. The nearest bar and restaurant are less then a mile away!

The villa is surrounded by a partly landscaped garden, large sun terrace with pergola and swimming pool (9x5 M).

There are various beaches to choose from, all Blue Flag and within a 15 min. drive. The coast is part of the natural reserve park Ria Formosa, listed on the Unesco World Heritage list. Furthermore, the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve Park and the National Forest of Vila Real de Santo António are both wonderful places for long walks, bird watching or bicycle (can be rented) tours offering visitors many possibilities to observe local fauna and flora. In other words, one of many opportunities to relax and enjoy this special area in the eastern Algarve.

There are several golf courses nearby, such as Benamor, Quinta da Ria, Quinta do Cima and Monte Rei.

Only 12 kms away the town of Tavira offers you all the things you need. This centre of the East Algarve with its ancient atmosphere and cultural highlights is situated at the river Gilão. While walking along its borders, sitting on the Roman bridge or standing at the old castle walls you will experience that time stood still. Charming Tavira offers all amenities, events and tranquility for stays during a whole year round. 

This very nice villa consists on the ground floor of a large living room with fireplace and two large comfortable sofas, a dining area and semi - open plan fully equipped kitchen (the owners love to cook!), two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom with bath and shower. The 1st floor comprises a study with double sofa bed, the master bed room with en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and access to a large terrace. The triple height ceilings give this home a way from home a special ambiance with lots of light. This also mean that the villa stays relatively cool in summer, therefore the owners have decided that air conditioning for cooling was not needed. Access from the kitchen, living room and one of the ground floor bedrooms to the garden and surrounding terraces with covered pergola and good size pool (9m x 5m), BBQ area and lovely views. There are sun loungers and parasols available as well as a outdoor table and chairs for that all important 'alfresco dining' underneath the stars. The sky at night is breathtaking as there is no light pollution!
