(Hell Hole! So named, as allegedly there is no bottom to the plunge pool) and despite its name, is a gorgeous waterfall and lagoon where you can swim.

churches where the doors are open for visitors and residents alike. Christmas sees the city festooned in twinkling lights and New Year is
enjoyed with a firework display over the river. Tavira has a temperate climate so sitting with a "galão" (milky coffee) in the sunshine can be
enjoyed any time of the year.
