If you like after dinner walks you can either walk on the paths along the boundaries of the property (it’s a 2 kilometers walk) or have a stroll in the palm tree garden. The calçada pavement surrounding the property is over 250 years old. The house has a beautiful bathroom with built in wardrobes and is shared by two double bedrooms. The high ceilings and the tick walls keep it very cool in summertime and warm in wintertime. There is a wood-burner fireplace for romantic evenings. The Patio house is on an estate where there are two more houses for rent. Guests may use the pool with ocean view. The pool is built on the old circular threshing floor called in Portuguese “a eira”. The shape of the pool is a large half-moon. If you do not like to swim you can enjoy and relax on one of the sun loungers under the bamboo roofed pergola. Pedras del Rei is the nearest beach and it is only 3,5 kilometers away. Two minutes away is the lovely picturesque village of St. Estêvão. It is worthwhile to visit the old church and to enjoy a typical Portuguese dinner in the local restaurant. A car is essential and you can find details of car hire rates elsewhere on our website. Our rental car rates are the most competitive in the Algarve and you may collect your car in front of the arrival hall of Faro Airport or have it delivered free of charge to your accommodation.
