Location: Santa Luzia, a  picturesque small fishing town in the Ria Formosa Natural Park. 
Construction: approx  71 m2 covered area (excluding large terrace of 60 m2), built in 2004.

This new and well appointed apartment with communal (indoor & outdoor) swimming pool is situated in the fishing village Santa Luzia, just 3 km west from the lovely town Tavira with blue flag beaches, shops and restaurants close at hand. Santa Luzia is a very relaxing place with no high-rise buildings or busy streets. A working fishing village that is very much as it has been for centuries with a small fishing community providing a variety of locally caught fish and octopus for the many bars and restaurants. It has a pleasant palm lined river that you cross to reach the beach and ocean beyond. At certain times of the day you can cross the river on foot but there are many small boats that work as ferries and also a charming open sided train that crosses. Surfing, kite surfing boat trips and canoeing activities can be undertaken from the near by Barril Beach, which has bars and cafes. Tavira is just 3 km away so you can easily walk, take your car, catch a bus or a taxi for a few  euros. Golf courses are just a 10 - 15 minutes away. A drive to the west coast would only take 1 hour and Seville is less than 2 hours drive away.

This spacious and beautiful apartment with Mediterranean ambiance is decorated to a modern standard. When you enter the property you come through the hallway into the living room with dining area with large sliding doors opening out to a good large terrace with table and chairs and a semi-open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, which gives that nice airy feel. The living room has a pitched ceiling which adds to the spaciousness of the apartment. The views are to the south west over Santa Luzia and it has good exposure to the sun. The balcony is fitted with a brick stone BBQ.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. The good size bedroom has a double bed and built-in wardrobes. The modern bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath with shower. Sofa bed in living room. Air conditioning in the bed room and living room.

You reach the apartment by staircase. Ample street parking available.  However, a car is not essential.

Distances:   Faro: 25 kms, Spain: 28 km, Golf Benamor 7 km;  Beach: 300 meter; nearest restaurant 200 mtr, Supermarket 500 mtr, Train station, 3 kms, Tavira town centre 3km.
